About me
From my earliest years, I have felt a deep connection with the natural world; a place where I have always felt at home. As a teenager, I was drawn to Transcendental Meditation and Yoga, beginning a lifelong journey of wellbeing, awareness and inner exploration. My studies in Anthropology deepened my appreciation of the relationship between people, culture and the land, and the many ways humans seek connection, meaning and belonging.
After nearly 40 years in education as a teacher and Head Teacher in both the UK and internationally, I have woven my experience in leadership, learning and community with my own exploration of wellbeing and awareness.
I am a trained Mindfulness Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, Sound Healer and Cacao Ceremony Facilitator. My work also includes my practice as a Priestess of Goddess Brighde, which has brought together many of my interests in nature, creativity, ceremony and the feminine.
My different practices have developed over many years and continue to evolve. Although they come from different traditions, I experience a common thread running through them: presence, compassion, deep listening and connection; with ourselves, with each other and with the natural world.
I bring these practices with openness, respect and a spirit of continued learning. At the heart of it all, I’m simply another human being out here trying, walking this path alongside you.
Mindfulness, sound, ceremony and nature-based practices each offer different pathways into awareness and reflection. Together, they inform the way I hold space for others, creating welcoming environments where people can pause, reconnect, explore their wellbeing and discover what feels meaningful.
My approach is inclusive and welcoming. I believe that everyone has their own unique path, and I honour the diversity of experiences, beliefs and perspectives that people bring.
Alongside my individual practice, I am developing Westhill Community Wellbeing Circle, a community initiative inspired by my belief that wellbeing is strengthened through connection, participation and belonging. You can find out more about this developing vision on the Westhill Community Wellbeing Circle page.
I am based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. If you feel drawn to explore mindfulness, sound, ceremony or wellbeing practices, I warmly invite you to get in touch. For more information, upcoming workshops and bookings, please contact me using the details below.
